Frost Fever · mixed music

Lumi
Vega

Trance for the long polar night, from the first beat to the sunrise set.

The first mix

Lighthouse (Sunrise Mix)

A slow-rising trance anthem that starts in the dark and lands on the first light. Lumi's low, calm voice over a rolling bassline, soaring supersaws and a breakdown built for sunrise.

About

The star that never sets

Lumi is Finnish for snow, and Vega is the star that never sets in the far north. From Finland, Scandinavia and most of the UK, Vega stays above the horizon all night, all year round, circling the pole.

Snow and a star that never sets: that is Lumi, a night owl who plays on until the sky turns pink. Every Frost Fever mix is named for a moment of the polar night, from the dead of midnight to the first light, and the next one is already on its way.

Vega is one of the brightest stars in the sky, and it was the North Star once, around 12,000 BC. It will be again in about 12,000 years. Every Frost Fever track is an original, released as a mix, starting with "Lighthouse (Sunrise Mix)".
